He was predeceased by: his parents, Monte Kennedy and Victoria Gilman Kennedy; his daughter Elizabeth Reedy; and his siblings, Lawton Kennedy, Harold Kennedy, George Kennedy, Floyd Kennedy, Leslie Kennedy, Lorainne Johnson and Joyce Bentley.

He is survived by: his wife Georgia Kennedy of Gainesboro, TN; his children, Michael Kennedy (Tammy) of Dayton, OH, Dewayne Kennedy (Leslie) of Dayton, OH, Joseph Reedy of Gainesboro, TN and Terri Milby (Randy) of West Union, OH; and his siblings, William Kennedy (Priscilla) of Dayton, OH, Byrd Kennedy (Barb) of Dayton, OH, Jonah Kennedy (Rosa) of Westport News, VA, Carolene Morningstar of Eaton, OH, Alethagale Kennedy of Franklin, OH and Evelyn Kennedy of Chatsworth, GA. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren; and 32 Great Grandchildren.
