He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Elkins and Josie Mae Stafford Elkins; his wife Reba Marie Haney Elkins; and his sister Elise Elkins Bowman. He is survived by: his sons, Tommy Lewis Elkins (Susan) of Gainesboro, TN and Donnie Elkins (Donna) of Gainesboro, TN; his grandchildren, Anna Marie Elkins Moran (Jackson) of Nashville, TN and Andy Elkins (Kelly) of Naples, FL; his great grandchildren, Riley Marie Moran, Maddox Anderson Elkins, Jackson Reese Moran, Caroline Mae Elkins and Baylor Gray Elkins Moran; his stepgrandchildren, Daniel Taylor Sutton (Rachel Nicole) and Megan Leigh Swann (Ben Lee); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Audrey Kate Sutton, Scarlette Claire Sutton, Campbell Rose Swann, Nora Leigh Swann and Liddie Blane Swann.
