It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Odel DeShields of Friendship, Tennessee, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William DeShields and Lillian Rushing DeShields; his wife Betty Lois DeShields; and his siblings, Toni Mae Rushing, Mary Bell Gabel, Pearle Dean, Mack, Russell, William DeShields and Thomas Durham.
He is survived by: his son James DeShields (Jeannie) of Tigrett, TN.; his brothers, Charles DeShields and Gene DeShields (Jan); his nephews, William and Russell Eric DeShields; and his sister-in-law Pamela Parks DeShields.
