He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilson "Buster" Wicks and Sadie Lucille Durham Wicks; and his brother Wilsie Edwin "Butch" Wicks. He is survived by: his wife Billie Faye Morton Wicks; his sons, James Gregory "Greg" Wicks (Sabrina) and Jimmie "Duane" Wicks (Kimla); his grandchildren, Laken Robinson (Daniel), Oren Wicks, Hannah Renfroe (Devin), Colten Wicks and Makenna Wicks; his great grandchildren, Cora Robinson and Jase Robinson; and his sister Fredna Faye Moorehead (Roy).
