He was predeceased by: his father Dee Gunter; his stepfather Paul "Cotton" Ezell; his brother-in-law Ray Patton; and his sister Ruby Arlene Gunter. He is survived by: his mother Ruby Couch Ezell of Evensville, TN; his sister Julia Patton of Evensville, TN; his nieces, Jessica Brown (Joe) and Leann Smith (Cody); his nephew Jason Patton; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jackson Smith, Rylee Brown, Kennedy Smith, Lincoln Smith and Liberty Smith.
