It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susie Riggs McDonald Buckner of Evensville, Tennessee, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Burnis Ray Buckner; her parents, Mamie Riggs Brown and John Thomas McDonald; her grandparents, Gaither and Ruthie Riggs; and her son-in-law John T. Swafford Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Buckner of Evensville, Lewis Buckner of Bethany, MO, Butch Buckner of Kansas, Linda Swafford of Spencer, TN and Debbie Pickren (Jimmy) of Brunswick, GA; her siblings, Marvin Gore (Valera) of Benton, KY, James Brown of Jamestown, TN, Lee Roy Brown of Minorsburg, PA, Joe McDonald (Dorothy) of Pikeville, Bobby McDonald (Cynthia), Marion McDonald of Dayton, Susan Stinnett (Jackie) of Dayton and Louise McDonald of Spring City; and also Jerry Weston Sr. (Jake) of Evensville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and family and friends.
