She was predeceased by: her husband George Preston Smith; her parents, Claudia Kilgore and Standifer Kilgore; her siblings, James Kilgore (Buddy) of Joe Kilgore, Bessie Wallace, Lois Isabelle, Anna Sue Harvey and Nannie Grant; her grandchildren, Lynn Scott and Troy King of Jimmy Parker; and her great grandchild Derrick Jacobs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nina Smigiel (Walt) of Ooltewah, Margaret Parker (James) of Ringgold, Wanda King (Marvin) of South Pittsburg, Claudia Faye Schmook (Ralph) of Evensville and Melanie Goins (Ray) of Chattanooga; and her sisters, Ruby Pursley of Dunlap and Marie Williams of Knoxville. She is also survived by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
