He was predeceased by: his parents, Lige Knuckles Sr and Betty Perkins Knuckles; his wife Dessie Knuckles; his children, Johnny Wayne Knuckles, Ronnie Lee Knuckles, Janice Sue Middleton and Georgia Faye Peggs; his siblings, Monroe, Everett, Hubert, Doodle Knuckles and Marie Black; and his son-in-law Dewey Peggs.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Wayne Knuckles (Tammy), Thomas Knuckles Jr. (Mary), Betty Potter (James) and Wanda Mae Vaughn (Lena Brock); and his son-in-law MacArthur Middleton. He is also survived by Seventeen Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
