It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Lee Maddux of Evensville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Roberts and Ruby Roberts (Pelfrey); her husband Robert "Bobby" Maddux, Jr.; and her siblings, Mildred Cochran and Jonathan Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tamela Whitted (Donnie) of Decatur and Rebecca Tumlin (Tracy) of Evensville; her grandchildren, Ryan Maddux (Courtney), CariAnn Meadows, KristaLee Meadows, Michelle McVay (Raymond), Adam Meadows (Alexis), Andrew Meadows, Luke Meadows (Ashley) and Breanna Sullivan (Keegan); her siblings, Edna Stephens (Kenneth) of Lenoir City, Margaret Nacci (Mike) of Hollywood, FL, Mable Varner (Glen) of Evensville, Jerry Roberts (Dottie) of Dayton, Clyde Roberts (Dana) of Chattanooga, Brenda Lewis (Alvin) of Dayton, Ruth Goins (Russell) of Evensville, Rita Hayman (Scott) of Evensville and Michael Roberts (Donna) of Dayton; and her brothers-in-law, Jerry Maddux (Margie) and Wayne Maddux (Janie). She is also survived by her 14 great-grandchildren.
