He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Keesecker and Brummitt; his sons, John Mark Keesecker and Matthew Lewis Keesecker; his grandson Jordan Lucas Keesecker; and his siblings, Sammy Keesecker, A. G. Keesecker, Michael "Mickey" Keesecker, Conrad Keesecker, Steven Keesecker, Jerry Keesecker, Karl Keesecker, Nancy Bogart and Irene Gray.

He is survived by: his wife Rexanna "Ann" Keesecker (Lewis); his grandchildren, Bethany Faye Keesecker Steel (Jayson) and Ryan Matthew Keesecker (Destany); his great grandchild Jordan Keesecker; and his sister Katrinka K. Quillen.
