With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hubert Franklin Johnson Sr. of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on March 19, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Isaac Johnson and Rosa Lee Cooper Johnson; and his son Anthony Johnson. He is survived by: his sons, Hubert Franklin "Frankie" Johnson, Jr. of Erwin and Chris Johnson (Jimmie Easterday) of Baneberry; his grandchildren, Christina Johnson, Andrew Johnson and Randy McKay Johnson; his great grandchild Luna Robinson; and his sisters, Linda Toney of Erwin and Barbara "Jean" Leedy of Erwin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
