With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Stanley Rutter of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Rutter and Bonnie Ashley Rutter; and his wife Geneva Haynes Rutter. He is survived by: his daughters, Candice Dunbar (Mont) of Erwin, Michelle Blevins of Crossville, TN and Christy Sams of Elizabethton; his stepsons, Kenny, Edward and Michael Smith; his grandchildren, Dalton Dunbar, Shawn Dunbar, Mason Dunbar, Tucker Green, Isabellia Cobb, Kenneth Collins, David Sams and Alex Garcia; and his sister Shirley Maynard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
