He was predeceased by: his father Richard Whitson; and his brother Ronnie. He is survived by: his children, Christina Robinson of Erwin, Amanda Whitson of High Point, NC and Matthew Whitson of Erwin. He is also survived by two granddaughters; two great-grandsons; as well as his nieces, nephews, and friends.
