She was predeceased by: her father Charles Randall; her former husband Frank Rice, Sr.; her son Frank Rice, Jr.; her husband Sam Barnett; and her sisters, Edith Randall Phillips and Joyce Randall Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Rice Dortch (Bob), Gail Rice Lawhon (Jim) and Jim Rice (Lovenia); her daughter-in-law Margaret Rice; her grandchildren, Todd Rice (Christi), Heather Rice Colley (Rob), Amy Dortch Weimann (Mark), Catherine Dortch Poloche (Sonny), Stephanie Rice, Samantha Rice of Mark Rice, T. J and Johnson; and her nieces, Kathy Rice Jones and Katherine Bowen (Jeff). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
