He is survived by: his sons, Tony Howell of Colonial Heights, Larry Howell (Janey) of Unicoi and Greg Howell of Erwin; his grandchildren, Mason Howell (Lindsay), Cory Howell (Hannah), Dillon Howell, Alexis Howell (Chris Whitt), Cheyenne Howell and Michael Howell; his great grandchildren, Jaxson Whitt, Gentry Howell and Piper Howell; and his brother Lincoln Higgins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
