He was predeceased by: his parents, Lydia B. Stockton and Etta Stockton (Harris); his wife Christine White Stockton; his son David Stockton; and his grandson Christopher Stockton.
He is survived by: his son Darrell Earl Stockton (Hitomi Lewis); his daughter-in-law Charliee Stockton; his grandchildren, David James, Jessica, Rebecca, Cindi, Carissa, Becky, William, Jonathan, Gianni, Charles, Desiree and Fawn; and his great grandchildren, Christopher "Tyler" Berryman and Davin Harber.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Ninth Street Baptist Church at 310 9th St Erwin, TN 37650.
