It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ruth Hensley of Erwin, Tennessee, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Lincoln Edwards and Gertha Harris Edwards; her daughter Sharon Kay Ogle; and her siblings, Bill, Don, Doug Edwards and Louise Wright.
She is survived by: her children, Jeannette Tilson (Junior) of Erwin, Teddy Hensley (Nina) of Flag Pond, Kevin Hensley (Lynn) of Erwin and Randy Hensley (Robin) of Chuckey; her sister Kay Edwards of Erwin; her son-in-law Rex Ogle; her grandchildren, Amy Ogle Kneen, Rocky Joe Tilson, Amanda Ogle, Alison Ogle Miller, Jesse Tilson, Christy Tilson Shetley, Andrea Ogle, Matthew Ogle, Erica Hensley, Austin Hensley, Lucas Hensley and Lincoln Hensley; and her great grandchildren, Garrett Kneen, Micah Kneen, Elijah Kneen, Landon Hodge, Dylan Hodge, Kade Miller, Thomas Gage Cook, Liam Ogle, Avin Tilson, Justin Clouse, Levi Clouse, Cameron Hensley and Beckett Hensley. She is also survived by twenty-three great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
