He was predeceased by: his father Cameron Butler. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Higgins Butler; his son Cameron Butler (Mindy) of Erwin; his grandchildren, Haly Butler and Sebastian Butler; his siblings, J. C. Butler Spruce Pine (Venita), David Roberts and Mary Yelton; and his pets, Buddy and Sugar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations be made to the funeral home to help with Austin's funeral expenses.
