He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Hays and Louise McClure (Harris); his brothers, William H. McClure and Dr. Jere P. McClure; and his friend Ruth Ann Jones.
He is survived by: his stepson Gary Gasaway of California; his niece Susanne Wilk of Florida; and his caregivers, Jimmy, Alma Ruth Michael of Newbern and Dick Barlow of Union City. He is also survived by two nephews; and good friends.
