She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Austin and Maggie Braswell; and her sisters, Faye Smith and Sandra Houk. She is survived by: her husband Tony Lawson of Dowelltown; her daughter Teresa Murphy (Brad) of Sparta; her grandchildren, Logan Murphy (Angela) of Smithville, Tanya Murphy of Sparta, Elijah Murphy (Reba) of Sparta, Zachariah Murphy (Lindsey) of Sparta and Andrew Murphy (Brianna) of Sparta; her great grandchildren, Emma, Lena Murphy of Smithville and Eli Houchin of Sparta; her brother James Pirtle (Ruth) of Smithville; her parents-in-law, Toy and Faye Lawson of Liberty; her nephews, Anthony Adcock and Danny Pirtle (Melissa); her niece Judy Pirtle Hale; and her siblings-in-law, Gary Lawson, Wanda Duggin, Patsy Whitaker and Rachel Bandy (Phillip). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
