He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Laverty; his brothers, Randy and Joe Laverty; his stepfather John Boothby; and his former wife Arlene Laverty.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Laverty; his daughter Misty Laverty; his stepsons, Ross and Stephen Lewis; his grandchildren, Hope May, Thomas May, Luke Lewis and Konner Eddleman; his mother Mary Boothby; and his siblings, Linda Clayton, Kim Laverty, Jamie Laverty, Brian Laverty and David Laverty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many very close friends.
