He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Morris and Rosa Morris; his siblings, Sarah Osborne and Robert Morris; and his grandson Charles Smyth.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Susan Morris (Randy), Patricia Smyth and David Morris (Brianna); his stepdaughter Carol Ostlund (Mike); his grandchildren, David, Grace, Douglas, Dora, Athena, Killian, Lazarus, Maya, Chloe and Amelia; his nephew Jimmy Osborne (Linda); his nieces, Phyllis Baker (Dave), Elaine Gazaway and Vikki Morris (Tim); and his family Bonnie. He is also survived by his neighbors and friends.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Celebrate Recovery, First United Methodist Church, 212 Washington Ave, Newport, TN 37821.
