She was predeceased by: her husband John Nelson Balough; her parents, Bert Arthur and Gladys Doty Taylor; her sisters, Ruth, Joyce and Judy; and her daughter Deborah Joanne Balough.

She is survived by: her son Tim. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other family members.
