He is survived by: his wife Mary Thacker; his children, Jeffrey Thacker (Michelle), Angie Bruce (Jeff), David Gauvey (Dana), Steven Gauvey (Leena) and Julie Murray (Patrick); his grandchildren, Sagan, Gareth, Rillian Thacker, Hannah Bruce, Samantha, Holden, Brianna Gauvey, Joshua, Olivia John, Lauren and Kayla Murray; his great grandchild Anthony Gauvey; his sister Shirley Novak; and his sister-in-law Cheryl Thacker. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
