He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Smith and Evelyn York Smith; his brother Jimmy Lee Smith; his sister-in-law Joyce Smith; and his niece Jennifer Smith Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Doris "Ann" Smith; his children, Rebecca Wilson (Darrell), Mike Smith, Amanda Smith (Greg), Josh Smith (Michelle) and Cory Smith (Keona); his grandchildren, Aaron Johnson (Bethany), Madison Hensley (Eric), Whitney Wilson, Kaleb Powers, Christopher Smith, Delylah Smith, Braylie Wilson, Brylie Wilson, Natalie Smith and Adalynn Smith; his great grandchildren, Easton Johnson, Bentley Hensley, Brynlee Johnson and Maverick Hensley; his siblings, James "Harold" Smith, Al Smith (Martha), Bill Smith (Bonnie) and Carolyn Patterson (Danny); and his sister-in-law Barbara Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all memorial contributions and donations be made to Green Hills Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
