She was predeceased by: her husband Clyde Goins, Sr.; her son Larry Goins; her granddaughter Rebecca Goins Lopez; her nieces, Susan and Teresa Howard; and her brother Reed.
She is survived by: her sons, Alan Jr and Clyde, Jr.; her grandchildren, Calie Goins, Trey Goins and Caelyn Asher; her great grandchildren, Kamble MacIntyre and Makayla Watlington Dixon; and her grandson-in-law Bobby Dixon. She is also survived by adopted children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Mammaw Goins' name to she-rocks.org, an organization benefiting research on ovarian cancer.
