He was predeceased by: his parents, James Roy Goins and Opaline Lucas Goins; his grandparents, Maynard, Stella Goins, Jim and Bertha Lucas; his brothers, Ronnie and Jeff Goins; and his cousin Johnny Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Goins; his children, Joy Janine Goins (Dan Johnson) and Larry Joseph Goins (Monica); his grandchildren, Olivia Johnson, Megan Goins Mullins (Quinton), Matthew Joseph Goins and Melanie Joy Goins; his niece Ayden; and his siblings, Bruce, Roger, George, James Roy and Debbie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital and/or the American Cancer Society in Larry's honor.
