He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe McDaniel and Nellie McDaniel; his daughter Lisa Hardin; his sisters, Sue McCurry and Cleo Rupert; and his half-sister Wilma Miller.
He is survived by: his daughter Glenda McDaniel; his grandchild Lynn McDaniel; and his great grandchildren, Bradley Hardin and Michael Hardin.
