George Mabes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Mabes (Cumberland Gap, Tennessee), born in Speedwell, Tennessee, who passed away on April 22, 2020 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Mabes to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Mabes and Julia Mabes (Norton); and his siblings, Esco Mabes, Chester Mabes, Paul Mabes and Mary Hook.
He is survived by: his siblings, Cosar Mabes (Melissa), Buster Mabes (Donna) of Speedwell, TN, Dave Mabes, Willie Mabes of Speedwell, TN, Bonnie Mabes of Speedwell, TN, Margie Baird of Pineknot, KY, Hazle Spurlock (Dan) and Ruby Davis; and his siblings-in-law, Georgia Mabes, June Mabes and Earl Hook. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, private graveside services will be conducted Sunday, April 26, 2020 at the Hill/Pine Grove Cemetery with Dan Spurlock officiating.
