With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan Burns of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, who passed away on December 20, 2020 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dan Burns to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Burns and Naomi Ruth Messer Burns. He is survived by: his wife Regina Sawyers Burns; his children, Joshua Burns (Lauren), Victoria Voiles (Derek) and Gavin Burns (Shelby Campbell); his grandchildren, Connor and Eleanor; his sister Carlena Burns Riley (Steve); his son Josh; and his son-in-law Derek Voiles. He is also survived by his sons and his many friends.
Due to the ongoing surge in COVID-19 cases, the family may not be present during the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Coach Dan Burns Endowed Scholarship fund at LMU.
