She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Butler and Oval Howell Butler; her husband Roy Hyden; and her sister Lavinia Weber. She is survived by: her son Dr. Larry McReynolds; and her granddaughters, Elizabeth Johnstone (Neil) and Linda Bertrand. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
