As we bid Merlyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Merlyn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Kimsey; her mother Effie Morgan; and her sisters, Alene Wayman and Selma Sewell. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra McCord (Bill) of Ooltewah, TN, Tanna Easley (Mike) of Olive Branch, MS and Vicki Presson (Dean) of Crossville, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hood Funeral Home (2371 US-127, Crossville, TN 38555).
