He was predeceased by: his parents, Rye Woody and Maggie Copeland Woody; his brothers, Raymond Woody and Oliver Kiah Woody; and his grandparents, Hezikiah Kiah, Verna Woody, Campbell and Dora Lou Copeland.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Woody of Crossville, TN; his sons, Joe Woody Jr. (Joan) of Crossville, TN, Randy Woody (Chelsey) of Crossville, TN, Kevin Woody (Paula) of Crossville, TN and Jeff Woody (Misty) of Crossville, TN; his siblings, Jimmy Woody (Kem) of Crossville, TN and Wanda Huff (Jim) of Cleveland, TN; and his grandchildren, Hayden Woody (Samantha Goddard), Emma Woody, Rylan Woody, Christopher Dalton, Kevin Woody Jr., Keely Woody, Alyssa Woody, Jeffrey Allen Woody Jr. and Madison Woody.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 3pm-4pm prior to the service at the church.In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully asked that donations be made to Relay for Life or a local hospice of your choice, in Joe's memory.
