He was predeceased by: his parents, David Blackmon and Geraldine Hollingsworth Blackmon. He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Blackmon; his daughter Loretta McGuire (Joe); and his grandchildren, Claire Blackmon, Ben Blackmon, Haleigh Cobb, Ethan Adams and Anna Kate McGuire. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was a part of the Freemasonry which enhances and strengthens the character of the individual man by providing opportunities for fellowship, charity, and education.
