He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Nethken and Margaret Nethken; his wife Ida Collins Nethken; his son-in-law Tommy Layman; and his great great grandchild Rose Ellison.
He is survived by: his daughter Lou Ann Layman; his sister Wilma Layman of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Chris Scoggins, David Scoggins and Carrie Gentry. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
