He was predeceased by: his parents, Epps Tackett and Flora Adkins Tackett; his daughter Corinna McKinney; his grandson Steven Tackett; and his sister Lacy Tackett.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Carol Tackett of Crossville, TN; his children, Carlos Tackett (Sharon) of Crossville, TN, Frankie Tackett of Crossville, TN, James Dean Tackett of Crossville, TN, Eric Dufek (Pam) of Alston, MI and Anna Marie Tackett of Crossville, TN; his sister Barbara Hasley of Georgetown, KY; and his grandchildren, Justin, Brandy, Christina, Josh, April, Ashley and Carol.
