She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Oakes of Columbia, Sherrie Campbell (Jerry) of Cornersville, Cynthia Spark (Kim) of Toowoomba and Scott Begley (Pam) of Cornersville; and her brothers, Elmer Leroy Burkey, Jr. of New Milford and Charles Henry Burkey of Danbury. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
