He is survived by: his wife Betty Lucille Cox; his children, Donnie Melton (Melanie) of Hampshire, TN, Joe Thomas Melton (Debbie) of Summertown, TN and Deborah McCormack of Columbia, TN; his daughter-in-law Deborah Melton of Lawrenceburg, TN; his sister Christeen; his grandchildren, Dawn Melton, Jeremy Pope, Tabitha Brewer, Amanda Melton, Justin Melton, Samuel Melton, Sarah Melton, Hannah McCormack and Jacob McCormack; and his friends, Joe and Brenda Adams. He is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren.
