He was predeceased by: his father Ronnie Owen Gray; his close friend Chuck Ray; and his grandparents, Eurial Lee, Evelyn Smith Gray, Harvey and Thelma Randles.

He is survived by: his mother Jane Ann Gray; his wife Jennifer Collins Gray; his children, Ryan Scott Gray, Morgan Gray Masters (Nic) and Maggie Gray; his stepsons, Nathaniel Ethridge and Andrew Ethridge; his siblings, Gary Gray, Bobby Gray (Dawn), Mark Gray (Adriana), Kelly Gray and Andy Gray (Reya); his parents-in-law, Steve Collins and Cindy Collins; his brothers-in-law, Charlie Collins and Cory Collins; his aunts, Patty Brown (Jerry), Janice Corsetti and Pam Krahn (Jerry); and his uncle John Randles (Brenda).
