It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Edward Downey of Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on March 5, 2022, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father William Jerome Downey Jr.; his brother Ken; his close friends, John and Matt; his wife Mary Downey; his mother Elizabeth Downey; and his siblings, William, Kenneth Downey and Karen Rogers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
