With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Theo Theron Staggs of Columbia, Tennessee, born in Hohenwald, Tennessee, who passed away on April 21, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ester Staggs and Lerue Johnson Staggs; his former wife Ruby Jewell Staggs; his wife Dorothy Clayton Staggs; and his siblings, Lono Staggs, Ginger Staggs Quillen and Jody Staggs Lawson.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Staggs Duke (Delano) of Hohenwald, Tina Staggs Holt of Columbia, Kathleen Alderson (Daniel) of Santa Fe, Reita Luna (Junior) of Santa Fe, Stephen Jones (Becky) of Lynnville, Brian Jones (Beth) of Lynnville and Marsha Brown (Mike) of Columbia; his siblings, Charles David Staggs (Song) of Clarksville, Una Gail Johnston (Bill) of Florida and Betty Jewell DePriest (JB) of Lebanon; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Duke (Devin Lee), Kevin Duke, Quandrees Holt, Brenda Schmitz, Kayla Lemay (Andrew), Hope Holden (Clint), Heather Hill, Brittany Birdwell (Dylan), Elijah Jones, Austin Jones (Audriana), Chelsea Brown, Cassidi Nolen (Calvin), Meghan Bennett (Keith), Emily Lindsey (Chris) and Christian Roberts. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
