He was predeceased by: his parent Dellie Lucille Ragsdale Hughes; his grandmother Opal Pike Ragsdale; and his brother Herman "Pete" Staggs (Jerry "Jake" Holder). He is survived by: his sons, Clay Staggs (Dana), Justin Staggs (Asya Harrison) and Jessie Staggs (Allyson); his grandchildren, Cale Staggs, Maddy Staggs, Cayden Staggs, Cole Staggs, Maybre Staggs, Brooklyne Staggs, Courtney Staggs, Kynslee Staggs, Cayley Crews, Claire Staggs, Misty Bue, Cody Jo Hyatt and Tawny Jo Welch; and his nieces and nephews, Daniel Staggs, Rachel Beech and Ryan Staggs.
