He is survived by: his wife Barbara Zakary Johnston of Columbia, TN; his son Randel Johnston (Molly) of Columbia, TN; his stepchildren, Susanne Rushing of Lancaster, TN, Joni DeVoe of California and Brian Rushing (Sue) of Pennsylvania; his siblings, Jeff Johnston (Donna) of Alabama and Melissa Ann Townsend of Alabama; and his grandchildren, Marvel Johnston and Ronin Johnston. He is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
