She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam White and Mary Bell White; her niece Louise Jordan (Trixie); her siblings, Jethro White, Florene McDonald, Major White, Elbert White, Pete White, Christine Underwood and Irene Scroggins; her grandson William Charles Bell; her great grandchildren, Joshua Banks, Amina Whitson and Amari Whitson; her sister Mary Brown; and her son Artist Clay.
She is survived by: her children, Bettie Smith of Cleveland, OH, Willie Banks (Anita) of Flint, MI, Charles Banks (Maria) of Cleveland, OH, Sabrina Powell (Budric, Sr.) of Cleveland, OH and Shana Rhodes (Richard) of Columbia, TN. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren, fifty-six great grandchildren, and sixteen great great grandchildren.
