He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Barbara Nash Baker. He is survived by: his children, Cody Baker, Tanna Shadowens and John Baker; his grandchildren, Aiden Thornburg, Addie Shadowens, Tobias Shadowens and Malakia Shadowens; and his siblings, Jim Baker (Terri) of Columbia, TN, Aubrey Baker (Sherry), Steve Baker (Alpha Dean) of Spring Hill, TN, Dr. Randy Baker of Lewisburg, TN and Elaine Baker Beard of Water Valley, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew and cousins.
