She was predeceased by: her parents, James Wilson Dawes and Paula Ann Estes Dorton; and her sister Sheila Dawes. She is survived by: her close friend Tim; her husband Timothy "Tim" Carter of Columbia; her sons, James Daws (Brittany) of Columbia and Brandon Daws (Jade) of Lincoln County; her siblings, James Dawes of Marshall County, Kristie Hadley of Columbia and Susan Cox of Columbia; her grandchildren, Madison Daws, Preston Daws, Justice Daws, Alyssa Glass, Caylee Daws, Skylar Daws, Caden Daws, Brayden Daws, Jayden Daws and Maelee Daws; and her great grandchild Alayah Brielle Marie Campbell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
