He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Burchfield and Delcie Ensley Burchfield; and his siblings, Dorothy Hart, Betty Sue Campbell, Walter "Buddy" Burchfield, William "Bill" Burchfield and James "Jim" Burchfield.
He is survived by: his wife Frieda N. Burchfield; his children, Rhonda A. Jones of Columbia, TN, Jack W. Burchfield of Columbia, TN and Timothy D. Burchfield (Darlene) of Florida; his grandchildren, Jolie Gilchrist (Steven), Olivia Ramsey (Raymon), Whitney Saldana (Jose), Scarlett Jones, Presley Huba (Mason), Gracey Burchfield, Lindsey Burchfield and Blake Burchfield; and his great grandchildren, Violet, Asa, Finnegan, Oakes Gilchrist, Briar Ramsey and Ariel Saldana.
