She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar L. Brown and Eula Jewell Harrison Brown; her son David Clark Sanders; and her siblings, Elizabeth Pauline Vantrease and J. E. Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Sanders of Columbia; her children, John Sanders (Monica), Mary Murphy (Joel) and Daniel Sanders (Melissa); her grandchildren, Kasin Sanders (Huyen), Morgan Tittle (Cody), Macy Sanders, Margaret Sanders, Mac Sanders, Charlie Murphy, Molly Murphy, Ben Murphy, Scott Sanders (Bailey), Alex Sanders (Sara Kilpatrick) and Kate Sanders; and her sister Sharon Truelove (Ron). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
