He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Arnold Lyles, Sr. and Edna Hines Lyles; and his sister Josephine Lyles Waggoner. He is survived by: his wife Dovie Jean Lyles; his children, Jennifer Gay Williams (Jimi) and Jason Lyles (Rachel); his grandchildren, Jaycie Lyles, Rhett Lyles, Christian Williams and Elijah Williams; and his sister Carolyn Myatt.
