She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Wilson Baker and Annie Geneva Barnett Baker; her husbands, Louis Hayes Kirk of Hampshire, Tennessee. and Carl Sudberry; and her brothers, James Earl "Peanuckle" Baker and Eugene "Gene" Wilson Baker.
She is survived by: her cousins, Rene and Dot; her daughters, Sherri White (Kenny) and Clarinda Griffin (Terrell); her stepdaughter Sandra Small; her siblings, Douglas R. Baker (Jeanie) and Linda Morcos (Malek); her grandchildren, Ashley King, Tyson King and Kirk Anderson (Mikala); her stepgranddaughter Amanda White; her great grandchildren, Koble King, Kierra, Breydon, Jacob and Chloe Anderson; and her stepgreat-grandson Stephen Stanfill. She is also survived by six nephews, four nieces, six great-nieces, and seven great-nephews.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Dorris's memory to the Mount Pleasant Library.
